A visionary program builder, Allan Stewart found the Aortic Surgery program at Columbia University Medical Center (2005-2013), where he co-developed reproducible techniques for complex surgeries while training the next generation of surgical leaders. In additional, he served as Medical Director of HeartSource, a consulting arm of Columbia’s Heart Program that improved quality in several programs on the Easter Seaboard. He later moved to Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he served as Associate Professor of Surgery and as Medical Director of Mount Sinai International. Seeking a larger administrative role, he moved to Miami and integrated several hospitals in the Miami-Dade market to create a regional center of excellence. Realizing that he could expand his impact beyond heart surgery, Allan Stewart co-founded UGENWellness, a bespoke AI integrated nutraceutical company, is a senior advisory to Alpha Pharm, a South African pharmaceutical company seeking to improve access throughout the continent, and a Senior Partner at Innovation Platform Capital; an investment firm, based in Budapest; seeking complex solution in sustainable energy, generative AI, and pharmaceutical drug development/distribution. Finally, collaborates in the wellness space as both a provider and speaker, leveraging his own experience as a black belt in Okinawa karate and Ironman triathlete.
